Our Programs

An overview of the programs we offer and who they are intended to serve.

90 Day Intensive Treatment

Our intensive program combines the proven 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous with the unchanging truth found in Scripture. Residents are guided through a process of uncovering, discovering, and discarding the wreckage of their past. In doing so, they begin to experience freedom, opening their hearts to a relationship with their Creator, the only one who can truly meet their deepest needs.

Topics covered in the Life Development Program include Bible study, criminal record recovery, health and fitness courses, counseling, and more.

Phase 2 Vocational Development

In this phase, residents begin part-time work in the community, which introduces them to the everyday highs and lows of life, stress, responsibility, interpersonal challenges, and decision-making. These situations provide invaluable chances to respond either with old behaviors and character defects, or by actively working a program based on the principles they’ve learned.

Phase 3 Sober Living

In Phase 3, residents apply the principles of recovery in daily life with increased independence and responsibility. Living in a sober home, they maintain full-time jobs, pay rent, and remain accountable through structured support, drug testing, and regular meetings. With ongoing access to counseling, mentorship, and sponsorship, they strengthen healthy habits and relationships, building a stable foundation for lasting freedom.

What To Expect

We know that stepping into recovery can bring a lot of questions. This section is here to give you a clear understanding of what to expect when you arrive, from what to bring, to what’s not allowed, to how our program works day-to-day. Whether you’re coming yourself or helping someone prepare, we want you to feel ready.

Admissions and Requirements

You don’t need a referral to come to GameChangers, just a willingness to change.
We accept men coming from jail, court, or on probation/parole. Some may need detox before entering, depending on current use.
Mental health conditions or medications don’t automatically disqualify you, we look at each case individually.
If money is an issue, we offer scholarship options. Don’t let finances keep you from reaching out.

When You Arrive

From the moment you arrive at GameChangers, you’ll be welcomed by friendly, compassionate staff who understand what you’re walking through. All of our team members are in active recovery themselves and know how hard this first step can be.

You won’t be alone. Our team will walk with you through each step of the intake process, answering questions, helping you get settled, and making sure you feel seen, supported, and ready to begin your recovery journey.

Personal Belongings & Intake

To maintain a safe and distraction-free environment for everyone in the program, all personal belongings, and your person, will be respectfully searched upon arrival.

This is a standard part of our intake process and is done with care and compassion. Our staff will explain each step, answer your questions, and ensure the process is handled with dignity and clarity. This policy protects the men in our program and reinforces the accountability that’s essential to lasting recovery.

Day-to-day Life

Daily classes: recovery principles, focus on spiritual growth, and life skills.
Hands-on work assignments: that develop discipline, responsibility, and teamwork.
A structured daily routine: designed to support healing and long-term change
Free time on weekends: for rest, recreation, and personal reflection.

Visitation & Family Information

Family plays an important role in recovery, and we welcome their involvement through structured visits and approved care packages. To keep our community safe and focused, all visitors and items must meet program guidelines, which our staff will clearly explain. Children are welcome at designated times, and visits are designed to encourage healthy, supportive relationships. Our Family Coordinator serves as a point of contact, helping answer questions, arrange visits, and provide guidance throughout the journey. These policies ensure that families remain connected while supporting the accountability and structure essential to lasting recovery.

After Care/ Next Steps

To support lasting recovery, we offer sober living and transitional housing options where men can continue building structure, accountability, and independence. Our team also assists graduates in securing employment and housing, helping them take confident steps into their future. Alumni remain an important part of the GameChangers family, with ongoing opportunities to stay connected, give back, and find encouragement in a community that understands their walk in recovery. These next steps ensure that every man leaves not only with tools for recovery, but with a network of support to sustain his new life.
